Dr. McGrail provides condition, criticality and risk analysis for utility companies. Previously Dr. McGrail has spent over 10 years with National Grid in the UK and the US; he has been both a substation equipment specialist, with a focus on power transformers, circuit breakers and integrated condition monitoring, and has also taken on the role of substation asset manager and distribution asset manager, identifying risks and opportunities for investment in an ageing infrastructure.

Michael Covarrubias is a Principal Consultant and Director of Strategy and Solutions for Xtensible, a Doble Company. He previously served as Manager of Enterprise Architecture and Strategy at Arizona Public Service for nearly 7 years. With over a decade of Utility background and experience, he has worked with various areas in the sector including Mobility, Operations, Customer Service, Field Service, and Generation across multiple different domains of technology and business areas.As part of Xtensible he current serves as the Vendor Co-Chair for the IEC CIM User Group.
