South Downs National Park

--

I’ve set myself a photography project to photograph all 15 UK National Parks. I’m lucky to have the New Forest close and the South Downs. I set out to what I think is the most iconic location in the South Downs National Park. The Seven Sisters cliffs and the Coastguard Cottages.

It was windy, cold and very bright for most of the day. I did hang around for most of the day, hoping for a lovely sunset, but the light was uninspiring and faded quickly. I’m pleased the wind got the English Channel chopped up, giving some lovely rolling waves.

So the project is off and running with the first UK National Park ticked off, and as it’s less than 2 hours away, I can always return to capture some more photographs or maybe some of the parks rolling hills in the summer….
