Introducing Marinade Earn: Season 1

• Marinade is kicking off a three-month incentives campaign to reward stakers that use mSOL or Marinade Native.
• Unlike liquidity mining, there is a fixed ratio of SOL-to-MNDE rewards for everyone.
• Users can participate in the Marinade Native referral program and earn even more MNDE.

Stakers, a bountiful fall harvest is upon us! Marinade is readying the launch of its fall incentives campaign to grow mSOL and Marinade Native stake by sharing MNDE tokens with those who contribute to the protocol’s growth.

As formally passed by the DAO in the recent vote on Realms, Marinade is introducing an incentives campaign that will distribute 1 MNDE per 1 SOL staked for three months to all of Marinade’s stakers. This also sets the stage for an all-new referral program that can be used by anyone to get even more MNDE.

This campaign is a new spin on liquidity mining incentives and differs from the previous program in a few ways:

• The MNDE incentives are active for a set duration from Oct. 1-Dec 31 or until capped out at 40M MNDE.
• Large SOL holders can’t crowd out smaller stakers by taking up a big slice of the pie. This is fair for everyone. Everyone gets 1 MNDE per 1 SOL staked over 3 months.
• Fully transparent rewards in the form of the MNDE voted by the community and passed on chain.
• At the end of the campaign, the MNDE will be distributed as locked MNDE with a 30-day unlocking period. Users will have three months to claim before the MNDE is clawed back.

What does the MNDE token do?

Marinade is not only the highest TVL protocol on Solana but it’s also bootstrapped with no VC initial funding or ICO. Its long-term goal is to be a DAO whose future is determined by the greatest advocates of the Solana ecosystem. MNDE plays a critical part in the Marinade DAO and has three main components at this time:

• Control of the DAO treasury
• Controls 20% of the SOL delegated to validators in Marinade’s stake pool
• Vote on new DAO proposals

This is the best chance to accumulate MNDE in 2023.

How to get MNDE rewards during Earn Season

There are two ways to earn MNDE during Earn Season:

1. Simply stake SOL with Marinade Native or liquid mSOL.
2. Participate in the new Marinade Native referral program.

You will earn 1 MNDE per 1 SOL staked per three months as a staker, and also as a referrer. So if you stake 100 SOL and refer an additional 100 SOL, your MNDE accumulated equals: 100 x 2 = 200 MNDE

Stakers of mSOL or Marinade Native will have all their existing stake counted. Any stake from before or on October 1 will be eligible for the full 1 MNDE per 1 SOL. Stake added after October 1 will be prorated at the end of the campaign (1 SOL staked on November 15 and kept in Marinade until the end of the campaign, for example, would receive 0.5 MNDE).

You can also use your mSOL in participating Snapshot protocols: Solend, Marginfi, Raydium, Orca, Saber, Mango, Drift, and Super Stake SOL. Some of these partners may also be offering their own MNDE incentives.

Once the Earn Season ends on January 1, you will be able to claim your MNDE at the Marinade. (You must earn at least 1 MNDE during the campaign to claim rewards).

The new Marinade Native Referral Program

Marinade Native launched July 19th and has already received over 2 million SOL stake from 600+ wallets across Solana. But that’s just the beginning. 97% of stake on Solana is done natively to one validator. Marinade Native offers the superior delegation strategy, so the sky is really the limit with regard to how many SOL stakers could use Native.

Marinade is calling on all participants across the ecosystem — stakers, validators, protocols — to help grow Marinade Native stake and earn MNDE.

Referrers: Earn 1 MNDE per 1 SOL staked by your referees over 3 months

Stakers: Earn 1 MNDE per 1 SOL staked over 3 months

Through the referral program, you can accumulate MNDE simply for inviting your friends to move their existing stake to Marinade Native, a fundamentally better way of staking.

Validators: You can still earn MNDE via mSOL Directed Stake (through the Open Door program), or earn a similar amount of MNDE by referring stakers to Native. Native stake follows the same delegation strategy, so the more SOL in Marinade, the larger directed stake you’ll receive too.(currently 2.45:1 for mSOL and .04 MNDE:1 SOL)

How to participate in the Marinade Native Referral Program

1. Visit the Marinade Earn page: https://marinade.finance/app/earn/
2. Create your unique referral code
3. Share your URL with anyone and you will earn 1 MNDE per SOL staked by them for the full three-month period.
4. At the end of the incentives period on January 1, 2024, return to the Marinade Earn page to claim your MNDE rewards. This will be in the form of locked MNDE. (You must earn a minimum of 1 MNDE to claim)
