Our logo changed.

Mai is coming!

Sep 17 · 1 min read

Many of you might have noticed that we changed our logo from Markable.ai to Mai. When we entered the Asia market, we noticed that clients in China, Japan, Korea had a hard time pronouncing “Markable.ai”. Instead, they simply called us the abbreviation — Mai. Interestingly, Mai also shares the same pronunciation as “buy” and “sell” in China. It’s easy to remember and easy to pronounce for people from all cultures. Today for simplicity, we call ourselves Mai as well.

We got rid of the “.ai” because we are no longer just an AI technology company. It is the customer experience which the technology can deliver that really matters, not the technology alone. Mai will revolutionize how people shop and discover from popular social content. The ultimate social e-commerce experience that 70% of Gen Z buyers are calling for. BCG reports that 70% of Gen Z prefers to shop on popular content rather than directly from e-commerce stores.
