Being in a business where digital marketing is our focus 24/7, our team is naturally curious as to how the web will play a role in the upcoming 2016 election. Google’s Autocomplete feature will constantly try to finish your search phrase for you based on what the rest of society is searching for. That left us wondering, “What are people searching for when it comes to the 2016 candidates?”

One Autocomplete suggestion was not only a surprise, but showed up as a popular search for many of the candidates. Let’s see if you can identify it.

You may have noticed that a one of the most popular searches for many of these candidates was “is _____ _____ left handed?” What on earth is going on? Of the nine 2016 candidates five of them had that phrase searched about them.

Certainly this isn’t “newsworthy” content, although we do find it quite amusing that the candidates preferred hand is one of the top issues among Americans.
