Here are 5 traits you can copy from top-performing brands on Facebook

1. Have one call to action

Create content that only asks the audience to do óne thing. Posts with multiple calls to actions will lead to confusion or take too much time to decode and the audience will scroll past them.

2. Be brief

Try to use as few words as possible to get your message out there. If you’re feeding your audience with unnecessary information, they will lose interest, before getting to your point.

3. Stick to what works for your brand

What defines your brand’s best performing posts? Use the same specifics in the next posts of the same type.

Red Bull are reminding audience in all of their posts, that Red Bull and (extreme) sport is interlinked.

4. Make less but better content

It’s all about being worth your audience’s time, and posts created with no clear agenda or bad visuals just aren’t appealing and will cause them not to take interest.

5. Create mobile friendly content

Make sure that your content is fit for being viewed on small screen devices. If you are making an ad or boosted a post that’s only meant for larger screens remember to change the Ad view settings to Desktop Newsfeed when creating it.

No rules without exceptions

Breaking the rules once in awhile can create awareness. Like a low-quality photo as a part of the creative scheme of a campaign. But do it wisely and with precision, so it can’t be misunderstood.

Good luck!
