Welcome readers of Marketing and Growth Hacking (MNG) on Medium and around the world via varying domains. If you are not a reader of MNG as of yet, don’t worry, we welcome you too.
Marketing & Growth Hacking
MNG is the largest publication on Medium for topics on marketing, growth hacking, and business related growth. However, it wasn’t always this way. Over the last 11 months, we have grown from 1k followers to nearly 19k followers. That is substantial growth and it couldn’t have happened without our dedicated readers and writers.
We grew by 1900% in 11 months by focusing on making the process of contributing more effortless and enjoyable. We have added 100s of new writers to our family in the last couple months with 61 coming since the launch of SuperMeditor in April. We aren’t ready to stop yet.
We appreciate the work of all of our wonderful writers who have been the backbone of our magical growth. For that reason, we want to make it easier to welcome new writers and continue making the contributing process more pleasant for all involved.

How to Become a Contributor

Request to Contribute Through SuperMeditor
If you aspire to join our family of writers, please visit SuperMeditor.com, search our name (Marketing & Growth Hacking) and click “Request to Contribute”. This will let us know you would like to be added as a contributor to MNG.
Adding Reference Links to Your Request
After requesting to contribute, you will be able to “Add Reference Links”. Adding a reference link to your request will give you a better chance of having your request accepted because it allows you to share links to related articles you have written to help us understand the type of content you would contribute to MNG. Please add at least one if you can.
After that, we will review your request and if you are a fit for MNG, we will add you as a contributing writer. At that time, you will be notified by Medium’s native notification system. As a writer you will be able to submit articles to be published in MNG for our readers to enjoy.
How to Submit Articles to MNG
To submit your story to MNG, go to your draft, click the 3 dot menu (…) choose “Add to Publication”, then choose Marketing and Growth Hacking.
While we prefer drafts that are not yet published because it allows us to publish at times we know will give your work more exposure, we do accept already published articles.
After submitting, please allow up to 3 days for your work to be reviewed and added to MNG. While we usually publish submissions within a day, we sometimes get backed up for many reasons. If you are not interested in waiting 3 days to have your work published, please feel free to publish it before submitting to MNG.
Submission Rules
There are a couple guidelines and policies writers must abide by when submitting to MNG:
- Submitted articles must be owned by you
- Header image must be placed at top of article either before or after title
- Your article must be on topics listed above
- Your articles must have tags.
- At least one tag must include the topic of your article.
- Articles must be in full — no summaries that link to external articles
- No blatant self promotion. However, you may plug your company or links where they add value to the reader.
- We reserve the right to add a byline or blurb about our publication at the bottom of your story.
- Once a story has been accepted and published by the MNG on Medium we ask that it remain in our publication. We will cease to accept articles from people who habitually remove stories from our publication.
We appreciate and look forward to publishing your submissions, but if your article is not accepted, you likely did not abide by one or more of our guidelines.
MNG’s Current Goal
MNG has a goal of reaching 20k followers by the start of summer. We are 1.3k followers from achieving that goal. We appreciate everyone who contributes to that success.
