GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a very common law, originally from Europe, on data protection and privacy for individual citizens in Europe. The purpose of GDPR is to protect citizens’ data privacy. As I mentioned in the last blog, we all should be aware of this law because it’s only going to help us. Today, I am not going to go over, one-by-one, about each provision and regulation. Instead, I want to address the important 8 things you should to for GDPR compliant.

If you are setting up a new company that may have some parts with data privacy, it is better to follow the 8 steps above. As technology increases, almost all the companies will have something to do with data. These data definitely help those companies with learning customers’ behaviors, which will lead to profit, obviously. It is better to set up this way right now before it may be too late. Even though the U.S. now doesn’t have proper regulations on the internet, I believe, soon and after, American will have regulations to protect U.S. citizens’ privacy. The lawmakers will most likely refer GDPR and create regulations similar to GDPR.

Have an amazing week and don’t get cold!
