White people, black people, and yellow people all evolved slowly in ancient times because the appearance of different regions led to the change of skin color, but this does not really determine that we are not a species. There is no absolute difference in skin color that is inherently superior or inferior.

Racial discrimination does exist. Whether it is racial discrimination, gender discrimination, age discrimination, or discrimination of various kinds in society, it is cancer that hinders the peaceful coexistence and common progress of mankind. All people should work together to eliminate discrimination. George Floyd’s death is not the first black man to die of police brutality, but it is not the last. As long as racial discrimination does not end, there will be two “George Floyd” and three “George Floyd”.

NIKE

After the brutal kneeling down of an African-American man by a white police officer, the movement for black equality was launched in the United States. Brands, organizations, and celebrities, whether in street demonstrations or online appeals, all spoke together to strive for racial equality. The fracas, sports brand NIKE has repeatedly issued racial equality in the network point of view, and on May 29, NIKE George for the Black people in their own social media Floyd’s death and the American society of racial discrimination, then NIKE also upload Black white short for “Black mattress Matter” in social media for people to watch, after this, NIKE also released “Don ‘t Do It” public service ads, calling for the American people together to participate in the protest against racial discrimination. NIKE, in conjunction with Converse, announced that it is launching a program to support the black community with $40 million over the next four years, which will be used to support organizations that maintain racial equality in the United States.

Nike CEO John Donahoe released a content, specific information is: “systemic racism and emergency events happened in the United States over the past few weeks to remind us that society needs to constantly change, we understand Black mattress Matter, we must to the problems faced by the Black community education better ourselves, and learn about racial intolerance caused great pain and senseless tragedy.” In addition to these Black voices and support, Nike has placed “Black Lives Matter” on the front page of its website to mourn the death of George Floyd and Nike’s support for racial equality.

In my opinion on the issue of Nike’s voice, Nike realized the essence of the matter very quickly, and the publicity department of the Nike brand immediately made the official website and voice appear in the public’s eyes, and other planning departments of Nike also quickly made substantial help to the black community. These measures not only let the public know the content itself but also indirectly make the public pay more attention to Nike. Such low-cost publicity and support make Nike a meaningful company. Nike can take advantage of the core brand value and connect it with the current environment, encouraging consumers to participate in interaction and have a positive impact. While helping the society to solve problems to improve the company’s awareness, it also resonates and identifies with consumers. Through the public’s feelings towards the development of things, it attracts these people to become the company’s supporters and creates a large number of potential consumer groups for the company. Nike, a company with a good brand personality, can better improve brand awareness and enhance the company’s unique brand charm by speaking out and showing its attitude towards such events.
