Although this winter is warmer and less snowy than normal, the temperature of New York City this year is still very cold for me. It makes me miss sunshine and beaches in summer.

Looking for a summer vibe? Let me introduce another way to find your beach.

The Corona teamed up with Snoop Dogg to debut “La Vida Más Fina” — “the Finest Beer”

Check Corona Hard Seltzer out!

Corona’s debut hard seltzer comes in four fruity flavors — Cherry, Tropical Lime, Mango, and Blackberry Lime — and clocks in with 90 calories, zero carbs, and zero sugar, which means it has less carbs, less sugar, and less calories than other brands in the category.

Corona’s international expansion began in the South and Southwestern regions of the US. American tourists returned from Mexico with a taste for the beer they had enjoyed on the sunny beaches of Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta home. In 1979, Corona Extra was introduced in the U.S and quickly became synonymous with the American beaches and lifestyle of barbecue, which is exactly why I said this brand can bring you another summer vibe.

How can you get a can of Corona Hard Seltzer? Corona Hard Seltzer is available at all of your favorite retail stores and watering holes… just ask for it by name. In addition to this, you can also get it on Corona’s official website.

How’s the UX (user experience) of Corona’s website?

What we see on the website’s landing page

Visitors have fun browsing.

The very first thing I noticed when I opened this website was this nice picture of the beach, sea, and sunshine. It really brings the idea of Corona’s lifestyle. “Slow your scroll. Take it all in.” You can see this slogan on the website of both PC and mobile mode.

Note the sound button at the bottom right. Click that. You will get the sound of sea wind. Imagine this: A warm evening, with breezes all the way from the ocean. Glossy palm fronds twist in the temperate wind along immaculate, powder-white beaches. Sea wind intoxicate. The combination of sound and the video background successfully create a summer vibe for the visitor of the website. Interactive design!

Can visitors understand experience and brand easily?

The site performs in terms of speed. The structure of the whole website is clear and organized.

PC categories
Mobile version

You can easily find all those alcoholic beverages Corona sells, its campaigns, and its brand story. I prefer the PC version since the icon they used in the category “Our Cervezas” is the packaging of those beverages such as their classical Corona Extra and hard seltzer I have mentioned. However, even though all the rest icons and designs are the same, the icon web designer used for the mobile version is only the logo of those beverages. It will be more complicated and confusing for some visitors who have no idea of Corona’s beer categories and the brand itself.

The aesthetics of the website reflects the brand personality and essence.

The main colors of this website are blue and yellow. It is a very brilliant choice. Yellow is a color that always catches the eyes, with limited offer. The logo and packaging of Corona Hard Seltzers both somehow use this color.

Another color I noticed from the website is blue. When we think of alcohol, we might have a bias that it is something that makes people act abnormal and crazy. However, this dark blue bar of the website makes this brand different from the usual stereotype of alcohol, yet associated with trust, calm, and loyalty. What’s more, it is also associated with the idea of beaches and summer.

Overall, the UX of Corona’s website is quite good and consistent. After getting deep into this brand, as I person who doesn’t drink that much, I generally start to get interested in this brand. After having a try at its product, I could feel the warm sun on my back.

Hope you can find your own beach❤️
