Worldly and cosmic mysteries drive us to seek more understanding and discovery about ourselves, others, and our surroundings. I have partaken in a journey of self-discovery for a long time, often taking different kinds of personality tests, psychic evaluations, and astrological readings. While such engagements have somewhat made me more self-conscious and aware by enlightening me about how I view the world, none of them have elucidated on how people see me. The Fascinate Test extends the perfect measure of how people perceive you.

Fascinate Test: How it Works

Sally Hogshead designed The Fascinate Test as a marketing tool to assess the individual potential for personal branding and communication. The assessment extends a 28-question form that appraises identity and brand to determine the dominating personality advantages such as passion, trust, power, and innovation.

Completing the questionnaire means that you can discover your Archetype (personal identifier) and Primary and Secondary Advantages, which extend insights on your most dominating and efficient communication modes. The test also identifies your Dormant Advantage: your most debilitating communication form.

How About me?!

The test suggests that my archetype is “The Authentic”, which people consider “agreeable, dependable, benevolent, approachable, and trustworthy”. The five adjectives describe my best values, including inspirational commitment, hardworking, friendly, loyal, caring, transparent, and stable.

My primary and secondary advantages are Trust and Passion, further highlighting how people perceive me. The world sees me as an open individual and peaceful team player who lends a listening ear establishes solid emotional associations and earns loyalty through generosity, dependability, and genuineness. Furthermore, I often speak directly without raising my voice, and I can maintain an engaging and supportive management style.

Despite the encouraging results, my dormant advantage, Prestige, suggests that I am least likely to impress and charm others especially in competitive situations that demand a consistent drive to win; however, applying my top advantages can make me exceed any expectations.

What are my reactions?

The Fascinate Test was exhilarating, true, and enlightening regarding direct applications in career building and personal branding. The test questions were rather intriguing, and the results describing my archetype and personality advantages were genuine and accurate. I learned more about the personal characteristics that I can apply in any working environment such as openness, directness, dependability, and generosity. Moreover, I discovered that I can work as an inspirational manager who maintains popularity through hard work, commitment, and consistent support and engagement. Finally, I observed that establishing a reputable personal brand requires me to be more authentic concerning trust, passion, intuitiveness, and expressiveness.

Some Final Thoughts About the Test

Overall, The Fascinate Test offers the best way to measures how the world sees you by establishing your dominating and dormant personality advantages. I took the test personally and discovered that I am The Authentic who is “agreeable, dependable, benevolent, approachable, and trustworthy”. Moreover, I was able to explore my outstanding values and my primary, secondary, and dormant advantages, which are trust, passion, and prestige respectively. The test surpassed my expectations, emerging as enlightening, intriguing, genuine, and accurate. I acquired substantial knowledge about the personal characteristics that I can apply at work and the tools I can use to manage people and establish a respectable personal brand. I believe the test extends to you an interesting opportunity to understand your identity, realize your place in the universe, and grow personally and professionally.
