Though content marketing used to just be a way to set yourself apart from your competitors, it has now become a necessity for any modern brand. Content marketing is becoming at the heart of most successful digital marketing campaigns.

  2. The Covid-19 has accelerated the use of virtual content. In my opinion, the Covid-19 made content marketing more popular. As a result of state-mandated quarantines and social distancing policies, in-person events have taken a major hit, while virtual content has seen sharp increases. The decrease in in-person events from 73% to 42%, the use of virtual events/webinars/online courses has increased to 67% from 57%. Similarly, the use of live-streaming content has increased to 29% from 10%.

3. Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.

So far, I think digital content marketing is more effective than traditional marketing, because more and more people start to use the Internet and use mobile phones, and content marketing is easy to begin, and it can drastically reduce the money marketers spend on advertising their brands. However, I think that marketing methods are diversified and cannot rely solely on content marketing.

How to attract customers in content marketing?

6.Images are a great starting point when looking at content marketing effectiveness. That’s because content with images gets more views, making it a great way to reach a wider audience. Images also help to spread your message wider, as content with images also gets more shares. Besides, Forbes says 84% of those using infographics find them effective.

7. 93% of marketers see interactive content as effective. And in 2021, 88% of marketers will make 10–30% of their content interactive. By actively interacting, customers form a deeper relationship with your brand. And that, in turn, not only leads them to buy your products or hiring your services, but they are also more likely to stay loyal to your brand. This type of marketing also improves your SEO. Interactive content will have a better chance of being shared and a better chance of attracting more links. And more shares and links mean a better SEO ranking.

Content marketing strategy has gradually become a necessary skill for marketers to master.
