The importance of content marketing is something that I can’t emphasize enough. It should be the heart of any marketing strategy and can ultimately determine its success.

Without content, there is nothing to share.
Without engaging content, there is no value.

As defined by Content Marketing Institute:

“Content marketing is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.”

Digital content can come in many forms such as blogs, emails, podcasts, and online videos and images to name a few.

This a fair warning that creating and managing content can get tricky solely because as mentioned, it is detrimental to the success of your digital marketing campaign. Before jumping into the nitty gritty of it all, let’s go back to the basics of content marketing presented by the infographic I’ve created below.
