“I never tried canned wines, but I would like to have a try for it!”

Gina Schober had forecasted the reaction before she came up with the idea of SANS WINE CO., producing canned wine, which is a huge and fun step forward in the wine industry.

Canned Wines are a successful innovation that catches important wine lovers’ attention. The innovation itself is always not enough to retain customers’ demand, therefore, creative campaigns are essential to provide existing or future customers with feelings of freshness.

Sans Wine Co. did an impressive campaign called “Virtual Tasting Experiences”, which engages target audiences to join the tasting of Sans canned wines and interact with all of them online for the sharing experiences.

Sans Wine Co.’s bottles of Carignan are currently available in California, Texas, Georgia, Oregon, Washington, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Maine via select retailers. Their premium canned wines are available online as well as in various stores across the country.

Since the offline coverage is not across the United States, the “Virtual Tasting Experiences” will help more and more states to increase the number of Brick-and-Mortar stores. So ordering online with a tasting canned wine kit will gain an opportunity to attend a “Virtual Tasting Experience” with the founders.

Co-Founders, Gina Schober and Jake Stover

I am really into these kinds of campaigns which have lots of engagements with Co-Founders, which always helps me know more about their brand and products. I can feel the brand’s value directly through the conversation, and get to know their original intention with stories. Some special features are probably shared with audiences, which are different, but essential to customers.

Pure Ingredients

Sans Wine Co is built on promoting environmentally conscious natural wines. Transparency in the process, giving credit to organically focused growers, and making wines that showcase vineyard site and terroir, vintage and grape varietal. Ultimately crafting wines without unnecessary chemicals, additives or oak — allowing pure ingredients and the work behind them to shine.

A wide variety

There are lots of choices of white, red & Rosé wines, and variety packs you can make a combination of them. Detailed brief on the websites helps the virtual tasting experiences, you can choose any products you are interested in and make them in variety packs. I love the wine briefs, because I easily got lost when I was reviewing various wines.

Overall, it is a successful campaign online for improving popularity and interacting with customers well. This is an engaging campaign involving both co-founders and customers, which is always a good action to learn.
