Hello friends, welcome back to my Mojo Dojo Casa House for Marketing! How many people are online these days? According to Statista.com, there were 5.3 billion internet users worldwide as of October 2023. If you aren’t already doing digital marketing for your businesses, you better start now. But no worries, I got you some digital marketing channels to begin with. Have fun exploring!

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Who doesn’t want more visits to their websites? According to HubSpot, Google processes about 99,000 search queries every second, which means about 8.5 billion daily searches. So, if not already, you want to get your business on these search engine result pages (a.k.a SERPs). With a well-rounded SEO plan, you can optimize your website to rank higher in the SERPs. It is a very cost-efficient way to increase organic traffic to your website and increase brand awareness and brand recognition. There are several ways to do your SEO: on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. You can plan it according to your needs.

Social Media Marketing

According to Statista.com, the global social media population reached a whopping 4.95 billion as of August 2023. That said, if you still need to get on social media, you better start ASAP! Social media is an all-rounder at helping you build brand awareness, drive traffic, generate leads, and establish brand trust. The diversity on social media allows you to create content that truly represents your brand personality. With all the social media out there, you can have fun exploring!

Email Marketing

Yes, email is still important. According to Litmus, it is one of the most cost-effective direct marketing channels. When done right, it can earn you an average return on investment of $36 for every $1 spent. It is particularly good for communicating with your audiences to promote personalized content, discounts, and events. Also — let’s keep this a secret between us — it will help you collect valuable data from consumers to improve your businesses.

Content Marketing

Are you posting videos on Instagram or TikTok for your businesses? If you answer ‘Yes,’ then you’re doing content marketing. Your content can also be social media posts, blogs, websites, podcasts, apps, press releases, and print publications. Then, are you tailoring your content for your audiences? Since 90% of marketers reported to be posting content, your content has to be really valuable to gain attention. Only if you have the attention, you can have sales. So, at the end of the day, content is the key.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC)

Yes, it is as simple as you think — you can pay to get a click. In those 8.5 billion daily searches, someone must be looking for your product. PPC will help you to get to this ‘someone’ more easily. It allows you to pay a fee to have your ads appear on the search engine result page (SERP), helping your ‘someone’ to find you faster. When done right, PPC is also very cost-effective, and you will earn quality leads with massive ROI.

I hope that gave you a better understanding of digital marketing. And have fun exploring your digital marketing strategy!
