Pop quiz ??

Upon the opening up of High Noon website, a pop quiz popped up…. and my first reation was “I do not need an extra quiz besides from school !” But after reading it more closely, I thought how they chose to check the users’ age is actually creative and genius! Although checking the age is the standard protocol for the whole industry, this does not necessarily make me want to “protest”; the gradual color change of blue gives me a calm sense of seeing the sky in a great weather with the yellow round circle logo symbolizing the bright sun. It is the feeling of vacation!

Main Page…getting better and better!

Nice and clean! With not too much information all over the place, its main page is straight to the point: the products, the happy hour, the locations, and contact information; and of course, there is their tag line in all caps and bold: THINGS JUST GOT REAL. They definitely put a lot of effort into designing the website into a user-centered and easy-to-navigate platform!

Aesthetics: the best part

High Noon currently is the only hard seltzer on the market made with real vodka, real juice, only 100 calories, no sugar added and gluten-free; and they make sure every design sends out this message loud and clear: we see their “THINGS JUST GOT REAL” slogan everywhere, and this idea is integrated through the web content, designs, ads, and words. Expecially for the designs, the graphics are super fun, creative, light-hearted with real fruits images to emphasize the nature of its “healthy, ingredient-conscious, low calorie and more sessionable beverages.” They are also kept up with the changing market and current situation, for example, they are offering nice and free designs for people to use as virtual backgrounds during their virtual happy hours events.

Could it be better? Definitely!

Unfortunately, they only offer emails and phone calls for customer service, which could have been better were they to incoporate AI for ease of conversation and quicker results.

Besides, they are not selling products online, which I understand, since it may be a concern due to the difficulty to check the buyer’s age. However, it might be an idea for them to incorporate an age checking system like Juul does on their website.

But overall, this is an easy and fun website to browse at, and more importantly, High Noon is able to demonstrate their core message, values and personality rather effectively.
