How Origins website performance?

With the digital time is coming, website performance will have great effect on online shoppings. As our final project moves on, Origins will be strong competitor compared to Juice Beauty.

The first time I entered into Origins.com, it comes out with simple layout and warm-toned banners. It is useful since the website has a clear category list and an internal search engine which will be helpful for customers to find something. Also, its headline shows recent promotions, account sign-in, and email subscriptions. I believe that during this time Origins is going to implement a fall promotion campaign as it shows above. Its purpose is sales promotion to generate traffic and revenue through the online store.

When I scroll down, I see its’ social campaign and the hashtag is #DiscoverOrigins. At the same time, the category list is staying with the page and also a search engine. At this point, the home page is user-centered since whenever you are browsing this website, you still can search and find products you are looking for.
It is pleasant to use. Firstly, it will not pop-up any sign-up banners to annoy you. Secondly, in product pages, they include fruitful information for products such as key ingredients, benefits, use instruction and reviews from customers. I would like to explore all the information on one website. However, the website may not be defined as innovative because photos are classic product shots. The trend currently might turn to Instagram-style photos such as Glossier. I think that the website represents how the brand wants to show to customers. Not the latest trending cosmetics brand, Origins represents for classic, natural and fresh products. It covers live-chat for employee responsive function. It will ask customers to leave contact info and assign a representative to customers. This function is good but I cannot measure the efficiency they response properly.

In my opinion, it is easy to convert people since it has a big sale right now and it offers free facial in local retail stores. The free facial trail should be the fascinating message.
