It’s simple to see why increasing brand awareness is so important. Because social media is a platform with many individuals concentrated in one area. As a result, you have the opportunity to be viewed by a growing number of individuals at the same time.

Why is Brand Awareness Important?

According to Sprout Social, many social marketers have stated that increasing brand recognition is their top priority. It simply refers to someone’s ability to recall or recognize a brand. Brands with high brand awareness are regularly mentioned in conversations and have a significant role in decision-making. This alone emphasizes the significance of brand awareness.

Even though other social media platforms do not come close to matching YouTube or Facebook in terms of broad general reach, several sites or applications, most notably Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, have a particularly significant following among young people.

They use Instagram as their primary platform, and they tend to keep their audience satisfied by keeping a very consistent style of pictures and videos that share the same values and ideas.

Traveling and going on vacation sometimes seem very stressful, especially when you have kids and must organize and prepare everything. However, The Peninsula tries to make their followers and future guests feel like going home even before traveling with their Instagram posts. They use pictures showing happy families with many kids staying in their hotels and enjoying their time.

Can you imagine having a big family that goes on vacation and looking into a picture with a family full of smiles, eating and playing together in the room? I would have made the reservation instantly. Brands need to link their values and beliefs with their customers because this is the only way their future guests will be aware of them before making their booking decisions. A big family watching the Instagram account of The Peninsula would make them feel more comfortable about their decision to travel with kids when seeing the following picture in advance.

Sometimes social media educate people about how a business works or its facilities. For example, in The Peninsula Instagram account, you can find how your dining table will look like the night you arrive at the hotel, how many pools they have, and what food they have on their menu.

Let’s not forget about the pictures that give us an idea of how it will be staying in this hotel. Their Instagram account shows us what their beautiful rooms and restaurants look like, the architecture, the interior, and the exterior design. Accordingly, they can also find out about different events hosted by the hotels in the upcoming days. It seems like the Instagram account for a business like The Peninsula works like a welcoming page for all of their guests that gives information about everything.

Are you a celebrity?

If you think you are not, you are mistaken. The Peninsula hotel strives to do one more thing for their future guests. They try to make you feel like a celebrity while using their favorite stars, having fun, and staying in the same hotel rooms you are thinking of booking. Doesn’t this make you feel a little bit more special? I don’t know; I am still trying to find out too! But I think that it works perfectly well.

Celebrities inherently attract attention, and celebrity endorsement and branding are no exception. Celebrities in advertising have long been a high-impact marketing technique since they can instantly capture attention and strengthen a brand.

Why are brands using celebrities in their social media?

A celebrity endorsement is a marketing strategy that increases brand exposure. It’s a method of boosting a brand’s reputation and visibility. Celebrities are well-known individuals, and their support of a company may help it stand out. Many businesses have benefited from celebrity endorsements in the form of increased sales.

Celebrity endorsement is usually connected with giant corporations. Smaller, lesser-known businesses are increasingly turning to celebrity influencers to market their products. A celebrity endorsement may help a company gain credibility and reach new customers.

The celebrity impact refers to a person’s capacity to influence others. Companies might use celebrities' clout and influence to promote their goods and services. Stars may help a business gain reputation and glitz. That is why The Peninsula uses Olivia Palermo, the ultimate elegant fashion icon!
