Isn’t it amazing how we can feel the creativity, aesthetics, and emotions through our tiny screens? The beauty of integrating new technologies into marketing brings us an enjoyable shopping experience right to our couch.

If you’ve been scrolling forever looking for a nice coffee table or a set of sofas, but nothing really caught your eyes yet. Try checking out Blu Dot, a modern home décor store that really brings out their uniqueness, and did a great job at awe-inspiring me, in ways they provide such a pleasurable user experience through all their marketing channels.

The StoreFront — Website

At first glance of entering the page, you’ll see colorful stylish photos, bold clean fonts, and cool catchy captions that scream Blu Dot personality — You’ll know right away if this is the style for you or not.

The website is well-designed, user-friendly, and most of all innovative. The menu on top of the page, which follows me however far I scrolled down, is something I really appreciated. I can look for items I was looking for easily with the search bar and the outcome was great.

Now, come to the point Blu Dot fascinates me the most. I was looking for a chair, and it was the details and features that really made me fall in love with the brand.

Exceeding Expectations

Will it fit the space? What if the color doesn’t match? Will the product look like on the website? It’s stressing buying a piece of furniture and there can be so many things that could go wrong, especially when we shop online.

Blu Dot gave me a delightful shopping experience by eliminating all those problems — how great is that!

I can choose the fabric for the chair and see how it looks in the real room through the phone camera with their AR technology — see it in your space. I can find how to assemble and care and request a free swatch of the fabric, just by clicking a link. And if that’s not assuring enough, they have real humans standing by on the chatbox (not those annoying AI chatbots) Blu Dot shows me everything I possibly want to know, without me having to ask at all.

A Touch of Human, Story, and Feeling

Another thing that brings UX into life is the aspect of humans, the way the words are written to describe products, and the stories that come with it. Blu Dot enhances the experience by adding fun quotes and insights into how each piece of furniture is made, giving us feelings of connection. — It’s more than a piece of furniture, it’s art.
