Nowadays, people spend more and more time on their mobile devices. How does mobile marketing affect our daily life? Today I am gonna share some opinions about mobile marketing with you.

I read a news about “Kind racks up 1M views for ‘Mini’ digital campaign”, which is published on March 10, 2020, by Robert Williams. In the article, Williams describes how Kind Snacks launched the campaign on social media to enhance the brand image of the Mini snack bar, one of the company’s most popular products, in minds of consumes.

Kind Snacks’ digital campaign includes some activations on social media, such as the advertisement video that focuses on the smaller size of the Mini snack bar and the AR game in which people are required to catch as much as Mini snack bars in the limited time. These activations make the company reach consumers in a funny and entertaining way, which will be more effective than some traditional ways. In the article, it has been mentioned that the campaign generated 1 million views in the first week. The popularity of mobile devices like mobile phones makes people spend more time on social media, so marketing activities on social media became more effective than traditional ways. In addition, those activations are usually fun and can enhance the interaction between the brand and its consumers, so they will attract more attention from consumers.

In my opinion, I think the importance of mobile marketing is obvious in today’s business world. The popularity of mobile devices makes consumers spend more time on those Apps, such as some social media Apps. I think companies that desire to attract attention from consumers should make some research on different consumers’ preferences for different Apps. In this way, they can know where their target consumers usually are, so that they can post some content on those social media to bridge the gap between their brands and consumers. In addition, they should design more entertaining content to capture attention from consumers. In today’s world, entertaining ways are usually more effective than some traditional ways when it comes to capturing the attention of consumers.
