Let’s be honest, If you are a business person rushing from A to B trying to make a meeting on time or sign a deal, Spirit Airlines is probably the last airline travel solution you want to come across. Clearly, with its famous low fare price, numerous price add-ons, and no leg room seating, oh and don’t forget the “I’ll get there when I get there” departure and arrival time. It is more targeted to customers who want to travel for pleasure to a holiday destination who has nothing but time on their hands and want to get from A to B as cheaply as possible.

But the questions lay at how easily/conveniently can customers book a ticket through their booking channels? Let’s dig into their website and apps to find out.

Is it useful?

The website is definitely useful, with the destination to booking hotel and car rental, and even cruise trips all very clearly displayed and easy to use.

With more low-price deals down below to choose from, it’s definitely targeted at price-conscious customers. And I’m pretty sure it is their purpose and it fit the brand personally well.

I personally feel the app is where it really shines, It has a good loading screen with a plane flying away, and all the page is plain and simple to use.

Overall Sprite Airline UX from website to App has a very relaxed aesthetics that their theme well, even tho it can feel a bit boring on the design. But for customers who want cheap flights, it’s dose the job. And on the website deal section, I’m pretty sure it is automated AB testing for the most effective way to gain ticket sales. It’s effective and somehow pleasant to use. Now they need to figure out how to actually get there on time.
