McDonald’s launched The Cactus Plant Flea Market Meal Box adult-only Happy Meals for a limited time from Oct. 3 to Oct.30.

However, Happy Meals will no longer be exclusive to children in the coming month, as adults can also relive their precious childhood memories.

What inside of the Meal Box?

A Big Mac® or 10 piece Chicken McNuggets® with medium Fries and drink come with a designer touch
  • Choose a Big Mac® with 100% pure beef patties topped with Big Mac sauce or perfectly crispy 10-piece Chicken McNuggets® throwing in World Famous Fries® and a drink.
  • A blind surprise with one of four collectible figurines made just for the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box.

Customers who purchase a Cactus Plant Flea Market meal box through the McDonald’s app will have the opportunity to enter into a weekly drawing for exclusive free merchandise during a limited time window, including T-shirts, Hoodies, etc. In addition, McDonald’s will also launch a limited-edition collection of merchandise exclusively at cpfmmcdonalds.com on Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. (ET). The collection will be available for a limited time only while supplies last. The collection includes a variety of T-shirts, hoodies, and collectibles that will allow customers to explore the story between the two brands further.

McDonald’s is in familiar territory. The Cactus Plant Flea Market Meal Box is certainly not the first time McDonald’s has partnered with a significant pop culture brand to drive sales. In 2020, McDonald’s partnered with American rapper Travis Scott to market Scott’s favorite meal, the quarter pounder, fries, and Sprite. As well as J Balvin’s meal came with a Big Mac, medium fries with ketchup, and an Oreo McFlurry. In 2021, McDonald’s released the Star Wars meal and the BTS meal, a South Korean boy band. In addition, McDonald’s and Disney have a long-standing relationship.

I believe that everyone has fond memories of eating a Happy Meal® for the first time as a child, that feeling of being on the edge of your seat, then waiting to see what’s surprise inside the box. That little printed red box can turn an ordinary day into a surprise day. Now McDonald’s is taking that childhood experience and completely revamping it for adults through endless creativity.
