Me Brand Isn’t Cool, Is Fascinating!
‘’ How would you describe yourself? ’’
When I was a child, I wasn’t interested in any instruments.
When I was a child, I was just a girl who finished her schoolwork every day.
When I was a child, I had no passion.
‘’Ordinary’’ is the label I attached to myself. But I didn’t know that I have been creating an image of myself for the outside world and marketing myself as an individual — personal branding.
The first time I watched the ‘’How To Fascinate’’ Ted Talk Video by Sally Hogshead, I was completely connected. I am the ‘’hi’’ person. I exclusively focus on my weaknesses, I am not comfortable in showing what I am pretty good at. But, resonated with the video that instead of finding the right word to describe who you are, describe what makes you different. And how differences make a good impression and captivate people in seconds. I also took her the Fascinate Test (28 questions that take as little as five minutes) which was an amazing process. I gradually know myself on a deeper level when I was doing the questions. The result of the assessment gave me was surprised — ‘’Ah, I don’t even know!!’’
Orchestrator?
An archetype that I got is the orchestrator. The world sees me in inspiration, warm connections, and dedication. It combines with two triggers — Passion and Alert.
Passion shares a fundamental drive to create warm, strong, emotional connections to inspire people to become involved and generate lovely communication. I love interacting with people with funny (silly) humor. I take this as my powerful weapon of social, jokes to equip me to develop good relationships, increase engagement, and build a delightful environment.
My secondary trigger describes me as a coordinator. Yes. I tell myself to keep things on track, be careful with detail, and promptly organize projects. Reliabilty plays a role in my personality that I can come up with innovative ideas and solutions and accomplish work more efficiently.
How YOU Fascinate
‘’There are no normal people, there are just different kinds of weird’’, a line from the movie named Normal people. Happy to take the assessment to understand me in depth. Differences (like my personal ads) help me stand out from everybody else. Build a personal brand is the combination of expertise, experience, and personality that I promote myself and tell my story to the world. Now, I am a bit more confident in showing my differences and mastering the art of my personal branding. I will efficiently and effectively implement my ‘orchestrator’ to attract people I encounter with a friendly and efficient style of communicating. Dedicate to teams both at workplaces and in life to bring my traits to make people fall in love with my ideas, and fascinate them! ‘How you fascinate’ is extraordinarily useful to (almost) everyone when we are all working on digital life and branding ourselves for making great impressions in careers.
I certainly recommend the Fascinate Test by Sally Hogshead, you will understand how the world sees you and how to uses it as an advantage! And YOU are fascinated!
