New Shopping Experience with Macy’s

I like shopping and I also hate shopping. I sometimes do want to get new pieces of outfits. However, being indecisive and not knowing what style looks good on me, when it is not necessary, I seldom shop for new t-shirts or a new pair of sneakers because I do not want to bother thinking about which type of outfit fits me the most.

However, it looks like I am getting help with my shopping because Macy’s has announced that they are updating their app and launching live shopping.

What’s new about Macy’s app update and live shopping?

The updated app allows shoppers to browse Macy’s selection and create lists of their favorite products. With location services enabled, customers can customize the UX experience to their local Macy’s store through the app, including immediate access to Price Check, Store Maps, along product availability.

On the other hand, during Macy’s Live, an all-new live shopping experience that is held weekly, customers will be able to interact with hosts and Macy’s Stylists via chat, view featured products in more detail, enjoy real-time reviews and recommendations. Each show will have a focused theme including fall and holiday apparel.

All these improvements, upgrades, and launches are aiming to better customers’ shopping experience with Macy’s.

Pleasant Shopping Experience With New Macy’s App

Though these days, online shopping becomes a trend, since there are still customers who prefer to shop offline, Macy’s update on their app is accommodating this group of customers. Remember those days when we shopped in-store, we had a hard time finding the location of a department or had difficulty finding the price of an item. With the updated Macy’s app, shopping in-store becomes more convenient and pleasant because we no longer need to walk through the entire store to find the Men department or walk around to find the price scanner. Instead, Macy’s app on your phone will do the work for you.

Not Just Watching But Join Their Live

When we shop, most of the time, we are in a situation that not being able to decide which style looks good on us. With Macy’s Live, customers will be able to interact with stylists where customers can get professional opinions for their styles. Rather than searching on the internet by yourself for new fashion, what’s better than interact directly with a stylist who can provide you a professional opinion on what looks good on you? While customers and stylists are interacting, Macy’s can also promote its new products for the seasons and encourage customers to shop with them instead of searching for the item somewhere else.

Nowadays, the usage of smartphones is common and all of us would install apps that are necessary to us. If you are a fan of Macy’s, I believe that you should have a Macy’s app on your smartphone. I would say that the updated version of Macy’s app will bring a pleasant shopping experience to customers. The launch of Macy’s Live is also a good idea. For someone like me who is being indecisive and does not know a lot about fashion, being able to talk to the stylist to find an outfit that fits me will be great.
