Never had I thought to download any beauty App on my smartphone until I met SALLY.

SALLY is an app that you can not only shop and purchase cosmetics but also learn updated trends about the hottest hair, nail, and beauty brands. Simply put, it is virtual marketplace for great deals of beauty products.

Why SALLY makes me feel so impressive?

Unlike Sephora or Ultra App which mostly focus on luxury beauty brands, SALLY differentiates from them by offering off-the-shelf products. SALLY is very user-centered and it launches a lot of great deals such as “Buy one get one 50% off” or “Buy two get one free” to attract their customers who are students or middle-class. There’s a rewards system as well in order to retain existing customers and encourage them purchasing more in the future.

How about the aesthetics of SALLY?

Colorful and plentiful, its homepage interface is contains a lot of promotional messages and shopping information. It uses pink background for rewards system which is pretty common in marketing field. There’s a “Deals & Coupons” pull-up menu below to inform customers what promotions they have now and can be navigated to the page immediately by clicking through the buttons. Unlike other Apps, SALLY uses a denim background color to emphasize the promotional titles, which is comfortable to view at and not too splashy at all. The overall interface is simple and clear to check out every information.

What is innovative about SALLY?

The most unique thing that SALLY has in their app is “ColorView.” There’s a simple-to-use interface allows you to view any of the brand’s makeup shades on your skin, or to change any hair color you want to put on. Since the fatal disadvantage of online shopping is that customers cannot tell whether the shade looks perfect or occurs color aberration when receive the product, it’s an practical function for customers to get an basic idea when the product apply on their face. Besides, customers may accidentally try the color and fell in love with it, making a purchase right away.

Me trying SALLY’s “ColorView”

According to my personal experience, I found this function very intriguing and fetching. For hair style, there’s a selection of brands that you can choose and the color will virtually put on without making any mistakes. It looks natural and pretty much authentic in the screen making me feel more reliable to the product. Furthermore, you can apply eye liner, brows, lip stick, and other else at the same time. There will be a “ColorView Look” page for you to check out what product you just tried and add them to bag.

So, does it worth the place on your smartphone?

My answer is definitely YES! It’s fun and suitable for anyone who have difficulty choosing the shade or hair color. If you are a person who want to buy decent cosmetics at lower prices and always have two minds that can’t decide things, you should try SALLY! The App will absolutely be your “Saver.”
