Covid-19 has shocked every business corner, but thanks to human capital and technology, companies can bounce back and perform better than before. Here are a few things I would like you to understand.

1.Social Media has Everything you Need

Digital marketing is nothing without social media because the platforms have the people, the features, and the content that help individuals achieve their goals. Understanding these sites is important because each has a unique aspect that makes one visible. On YouTube, you have to create entertaining videos, while on Facebook and Twitter, popular pages and hashtags are essential elements, respectively. On Instagram, make use of your best cameras and popular tags.

2.Content is Everything

In digital marketing, content is valuable based on how you frame it and your targeted audience. Remember that consumer searches for commodities online have changed. People have no choice but to follow covid-19 protocols, and therefore, we have a high demand for online marketing. Decision-makers have relaxed such that they hardly reflect on consumer desires and instead, advertisers focus on commodity features. Therefore, your message should reflect both aspects as they are crucial in driving traffic. The highest population has reduced consumption, and that includes time spent online. Therefore, your content should be brief and straightforward. Long messages do not attract people, and viewers will only respond to small, well-crafted materials.

3.Marketing Strategies

Understanding marketing strategies is vital for my clients because one has to use the right tool. I usually recommend SEO as the first option because premium content attracts traffic. The marketing tool helps one improve their website by ranking it high among search engines. The main idea is to use keywords in your content that most people search for while browsing commodities online. It intercepts your targeted audience, and if your advert ranks first place, you gain new clicks daily. I also recommend content marketing, which allows you to reach, engage, and connect with customers. You can use blogs, videos, and other information-based materials. The main idea is to inform your targeted audience, generate and boost traffic, and gain feedback.

4.Email Marketing is not Old Fashioned

I have met many people who ignore email marketing because they hardly get a response. For clients, the marketing strategy is valuable, especially during the pandemic. Most people have joined the online community by re-activating their emails or registering to obtain different services. According to Deloitte, the pandemic proliferated online demand in multiple categories while shifting consumer habits and patterns. Public and private entities have transferred over half of their operations online, and therefore, you have a massive consumer base to gain new clients and retain existing ones. Similarly, the tool will help you create awareness, encourage repeat buying, and refine your campaigns.

5.Combine with Traditional Marketing

Traditional marketing is not dead. Although it is not popular, you should not ignore it. I find it essential for my clients to understand that some people do not trust online information. Even though Covid-19 has forced them to operate wirelessly, the majority use the platforms with caution. Therefore, use billboards, television, radios, and word-of-mouth marketing on top of digital marketing. The last approach should occur under responsible circumstances due to covid-19 protocol adherence. However, television, billboards, and radios are effective because people spend significant time on radio and television following the pandemic’s updates. Furthermore, lockdowns and curfews are less strict such that individuals going out can see your advert.
