Empathy Wines, a high-performing, digitally-native wine brand and direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform, was co-founded by entrepreneur and media personality Gary Vaynerchuk with business partners Jon Troutman and Nate Scherotter. The brand is committed to creating a new wine brand for young consumers.

Empathy Wines focuses on producing high quality, sustainably made wines, sold direct-to-consumer through its eCommerce platform, powered by consumer insights and content-driven digital marketing. It can be said that the wine brand has become a leader in digital marketing in the wine industry.

Its brands have stable operational data on all major social platforms, with Instagram and YouTube having extremely high-quality content.

From the very beginning, the founder Vaynerchuck, took what he had to work with and used it to grow a million-dollar business. With his experience at the liquor store, Vaynerchuck eventually launched one of the world’s first ever e-commerce wine businesses, debuted a long-term YouTube channel (Wine Library) about the process and taste of wines, a podcast and then his own custom brand, Empathy Wines.

And Empathy Wines team claims to further scale the brand’s growth, while leveraging their rich consumer insights and analytics, proven brand building expertise, and high-performing digital technology to build DTC and digital capabilities.

As a consumer goods industry with a certain threshold of consumption, the red wine category has limited the marketing development of brands to a certain extent.

But Empathy Wines broke the mold by taking the lead in digital marketing to capture the attention of consumers and retain customers with its high-quality products. The most important thing is that the accumulation of digital marketing in the early stage has also greatly broadened the customer acquisition channels, laying a solid foundation for other subsequent development routes of the company.
