Artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, metaverse, mixed reality- all of these terms are immersive technologies that are known as extended reality where the physical and virtual world is merged together. This industry is expected to reach $397.81 billion by 2026 and is currently valued at $25.21 billion. Whilst these emerging technologies are very exciting, do we know the difference between each word or their applications of them? Thus, I decided to take a deep look into augmented reality and research some informative facts about what it is, the use of AR, and what the industry will look like in the future.
