We can find that there’s not only the fights booking, but the United Webpage also provide other services that could connect to the travel and satisfy users’ need in the purpose. I checked the CAR section and discovered United corporate with AVIS and Budget. Moreover, MileagePlus members can get special savings and earn miles, which is very useful for people who travel a lot. Those additional functions add value to the site. It’s reasonable to see that the airline company likes to include reward and membership advertising on the page. I think it’s a little of a “call to action” for returning customers. From this site, “100,000 bonus miles” attract web visitors to click on the link.

Here’s a map that includes the estimated ticket price. It helps customers explore destinations. I think this map is very useful for people who don’t know where to go but want to have a vacation. It’s straightforward and convenient for customers to read and utilize. The web format is changed depending on the screen size and orientation of the device. In addition, they are using AI for customer service. From the United website, I find there is a HELP choice, and it provides many standard questions that customers may have while traveling. If you are not finding what you are looking for, “call us” and “chat with us” are available on the site. It’s the direct way to talk with customer service. The design and user experience of United’s website reflect a brand’s personality, which is helpful, kind, credible, and accessible. A good web design is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and suits the user group and brand of the website.
