Who am I?
My name is Xiaotong Yang from Xinjiang, China. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a finance concentration, global business theme, and art minor. Now, I am a graduate student at New York University studying integrated marketing. I like to travel, especially coastal cities, to relax, try different foods, and feel different cultures. I love coastal cities because I come from Urumqi, the most remote capital from any sea in the world.
Xinjiang is an extraordinary province in China. I guess I am the first one to talk about this place in this publication. This place lives many minorities, such as Uyghur and Hui. They have different looking, habits, and cultures. However, I am not one of them because my parents were born in other cities, and they moved to Xinjiang for opportunities to make money when they were young. Look at the pictures; you will understand why I want to introduce this place to you. One day, if you have time to travel there, you will not think you are in China.
How do I feel to blog?
Before I wrote this welcome blog, I read many interesting blogs. This platform is an open place for people to communicate feelings, knowledge, and personal stories. This is my first time writing a blog, but I will try my best to tell you exciting information and knowledge about marketing. There are many interesting topics for us to discuss in the marketing field because people cannot live without it. If you want to live, you need money. If you want money, you need marketing knowledge. This relationship makes this field have many possibilities and opportunities. To be an international student who has been in many different counties, I think you will learn specialized knowledge from me. I like to try different positions to gain exciting experiences. I have several internship experiences in consulting, banking, and advising field because I want to make sure what job I want to go after graduation.
