WFH? You mean Work from Hyatt, Right?

Yes, I’ve been drilling Hyatt but seems like they’re taking things personal.

And just like that, this semester is coming to an end. I started the semester while it was freezing and now? The weather is beautiful…when it wants to be, of course. But it’s putting me in the mood to book vacations and even consider staycations. Whatever it is, you know what the top thing I’ll need while traveling? Somewhere to stay!

After the pandemic, the hotel industry is currently finding it hard to get back to where they were pre-pandemic era. According to the New York Post, the good news after two years is that people are ready to have face-to-face meetings again and have also established virtual work arrangements.

That’s where Hyatt said, “We hear you!”

Work from Hyatt was created to “offer options to temporarily relocate to Hyatt resorts and receive everything from pet care to laundry services to workspace.” Sounds like my type of vacation…or is it a “workation?”

This launch brought Hyatt more revenue they expected and they were able to showcase how they were able to pivot their business in response to customer needs through personalization.

Adding onto Work from Hyatt, Hyatt also made digital options available on their app to help guest control their on property experience. They can choose if they want housekeeping, order food, or even check-in easily. The more options they give to their customers, in my opinion, the more they’ll profit.

Overall, seeing how Hyatt has used personalization within the past two years to cater to consumer needs demonstrates what the company stands for and their brand. I thought it was a smart idea to promote workspaces within the properties as more people are now working from home and want a change of environment at times. Hyatt can also continue to analyze what consumers want from their properties in order to update this strategy to keep it up-to-date and working.

No one wants to stay at a hotel that doesn't go above and beyond for their guests or not offer flexibility when it comes to using certain amenities. I know I sure don’t. What about you?!
