How I feel about the Fascination Advantage Test

I was surprised by the Fascination Advantage Test because it gave me 16 pages report about how people see me by asking 28 questions. Also, I feel it tells 90% of the truth. I think it is not 100% true since some questions asked about other people’s feelings about me. I cannot guarantee that I know other people’s ideas. In a word, this test is efficient and useful to me. If I know my strengths and weaknesses, I can efficiently utilize them.

My archetype

According to the Fascination Advantage Test, I am a connoisseur. People think this type of person is insightful, distinguished, in-the-know, admired, and well-groomed. Their primary and secondary advantages are prestige and passion. They intuitively understand what people need and quickly build a warm emotional connection to them. They are good sellers of products and ideas because they can create vivid images of the positive impact new products will have on clients. They can express ideas with clarity and conviction. They are sought-after speakers in their specialist areas. They like to set high expectations and continuously improve themselves. People naturally gravitate to them to listen to their opinions because people recognize connoisseurs as achievers or experts, and connoisseurs are willing to share knowledge. In front of many chooses, they always know which one is the best. However, connoisseurs are not good innovators. They used to stable, trustworthy, consistent life, so they do not like to embrace changes because new ideas may lead to failure that they try to avoid.

How I use this information

This test told me many details about myself. If I can take advantage of this information, I will have a better personal and career life in the future. Prestige, my first advantages, means I naturally seek the next level of accomplishment. Passion, my second advantage, means I am good at capture attention and communicate with people. If I keep developing these strengths. I can more strategically persuade and inspire people. If I dislike situations that feel unpredictable and random, I can avoid jobs that require me to react and reinvent continually. However, I have to improve my ability to face changes because the world changes fast. If I do not change, it is easy for me to be replaced.

My thoughts about the idea of Fascination as a marketer

I appreciate the idea of making people understand other people’s feelings because it is hard for them to see themselves objectively. People tend to ignore details since they already used to them. Also, it is hard to gather people’s thoughts because families and friends tend to have more positive thinking and attitudes about us, and unfamiliar people may not tell the truths. This tool will be valuable if there is a tool that can help people summarize other people’s thoughts. If the company that created the Fascination Advantage Test has a strategic marketing plan, it can make a high profit in the future.
