More than just a lover of fashion I am a true believer that style is within you while fashion can be bought.

I knew I was going to be in the fashion world since I was 14 years old. As a first generation immigrant I can wholeheartedly say it was not easy growing up in NYC and in my neighborhood where there were many stereotypes set upon our culture. I have never been more proud to be a Hispanic Latina of Color and New Yorker at that!

Life takes you through so many odd twists and turns which sometimes don’t always make sense so why not add blogging into that mix. As I maneuvered through my career after my undergraduate degree from working in a luxury car dealership, to designing accessories for brands, to then going into the crazy world of packaging goods for a global supplier it all seemed like a tangled web that to most did not make sense from the outside in. While deciding on what change was next, 3 years ago I took a course at NYU (SPS) that completely transformed my thought process on possibly obtaining further higher education. I was immersed and intrigued by the professors and my peers. It was very thrilling and ironically changed the course of my life into marketing.

Marketing allows this platform where you can be creative, results driven, conceptual and analytical all in one. It all makes sense now! I look forward to taking you all through my passion for both fashion and my roots through my blogs within the merger of both the physical and digital worlds of marketing. Like most changes I look forward to fully engaging myself in this platform in full passion. With a native tongue of (Spanish) that is now a must to be spoken in any government agency and almost anywhere you call it is only the beginning and a must watch for marketers. The Hispanic purchasing power is increasing and I tend to also dive a bit into this and see how and what brands are currently doing to tap into us. In the upcoming weeks I hope you all grow a new fond adoration within the digital marketing space through fashion and an added bit of sazon! Stay Tuned…
