Start anew, re-recognize “You”-Marketing

Through this period of learning marketing, I have a comprehensive and brand-new understanding of marketing. It broke my previous narrow and one-sided interpretation of marketing concepts.
We are not selling products but working with customers to help them plan the present and the future from his point of view. I used to think that as long as you create something good enough, you can attract more consumers, even if it may not meet customer needs. Marketing strategy is the starting point for companies to take customer needs and obtain information on customer demand and purchasing power. Business expectations based on experience, organize various business activities in a planned way and adopt mutually coordinated product strategies, price strategies, channel strategies, and Promotion strategies, providing customers with satisfactory products and services to achieve corporate goals. The purpose is to create customers, acquire and maintain customers; from a long-term perspective, consider how to effectively defeat the competition and remain invincible; focus on market research, collect and analyze a large amount of information, only in this way can the environment and the market change Make correct decisions when there is great uncertainty; actively promote innovation, the degree of which is proportional to the effect; make decisions amidst changes, require their decision-makers to have strong abilities and be like entrepreneurs Insight, discrimination, and determination.

I think the biggest challenge for me will be that I may develop in China and go overseas to create in more other countries. At this time, I need to solve marketing issues that affect religion, culture, and customs. Only by studying the national conditions over there can we understand the habits of the locals well, and then we can specify the marketing strategy that is in line with over there. To cite an extreme example, the sales of pork production companies in the Middle East and North Africa are minimal and can be ignored. This example is that religion, culture, and customs have a direct impact on sales when choosing a sales market.

In general, this class will check and fill in the gaps in my understanding of marketing, and at the same time, correct my misunderstandings about marketing. Jobs said that to live is to change the world, and later, he said that to live is to change the world again. So I live to change myself, change the family, change the industry, change the market, change the country, and finally change the world. To live is to change. For us, this road still has a long way to go.
