From AR games to companies using the technology to let customers have the close to in-store experience without having to be present in the physical store. Due to Covid-19 and the restrictions, we need AR more than ever in order to find our next perfect products without the hassle of commuting.
Wayfair, an online furniture store has developed an AR app for their customers to see how the furniture would fit into their space. I personally have been a Wayfair loyal customer and I purchased a lot of furniture in 2020 during quarantine. I was able to use the app and successfully purchased the right size furniture because NYC apartments don’t usually have a lot of space. One of the main concerns of buying large pieces of furniture online is that you don’t know whether it will fit and how each piece of furniture would fit next to each other. Other than measurement, you also get to see how the furniture looks in your apartment. The app has helped ease the consumer concerns and provide an easy online shopping experience.
By having this app, it helps build customer relationships and loyalty. Because having an AR app is nothing new and being able to catch the trend to provide for your customers is important to keep your loyal customer base.
