What’s the first word that comes to your mind when I say Brand Tribe? Apple right? I am one of the proud members of the Apple Tribe. People don’t love the apple products, they love the shared values and interests they all have in common. Everyone wants to be an apple user for the Social Status, so that they can be a part of that community and stay connected with services like iMessage, AirDrop, FaceTime, ect. Apple made all those services private specifically for Apple users.

Apple’s technology is its biggest marketing tool. The technology is heavily private and no other products can have that same technology. Humans naturally desire a sense of belonging to a tribe, to have something common with others. Apple products just give us that by connecting us all with their devices. Another strategy that adds to it is their product diversification. Today, there is apple everything, apple TV, apple car, Apple watch, and it’s all connected to make our lives fully machine controlled. Plus, they have their loyalty program, rewards program which makes its community a lifetime loyalist. Apple makes sure it stays connected with its customers throughout their life by offering upgrades to new technology.

Like many other brands, Apple had to make several changes to how they operate when the pandemic hit, especially all their in-store services! However, Apple took some strict measures by closing down stores, coming up with new ways to connect with their audience by sharing credible information on Apple News regarding the Coronavirus Pandemic. Clearly they took advantage of the opportunity and promoted their streaming service by an Oprah Produced show on Pandemic talks. Last but not least, they also introduced FaceTime conferencing which helped others connect online in groups while they can’t physically hang out with each other.
