SocialFlow — Build Your First ChatBot Flow (Appointment Booking)

With the introduction of SocialFlow from my previous blog, let’s dive in to build your first chatbot flow using this tool. In case you want to read up on what other features it has, you can refer to my previous blog to find out more.

The chatbot flow that we are building will be automating the appointment booking process. Please note that you will need multiple software tools to automate your entire appointment booking process in an actual sales application. Other tools you will need aside from SocialFlow will be the landing page/sales funnel builder, integration tools like Zapier, calendar booking tool like Calendly and email/SMS automation tools to remind your customers of their appointment.

Guidelines for Chatbot Flow

Registration

In case you don't have a SocialFlow account or other similar chatbot tools, you can get started by following the steps below.

  1. Register a NetFlow account here. (SocialFlow is part of NetFlow so you will get SocialFlow from there.)
  2. Upgrade your account to a Professional package or Agency package to get access.
Get at least the Professional package or the Agency package for SocialFlow access.

The price may seem expensive but do note that this package does not only contain SocialFlow alone. It also contains other benefits that are already available in NetFlow. I will be posting more about NetFlow from time to time and update them here. Currently, the software is undergoing a major update and more awesome stuff are being added to make the money worth investing for.

How to access the interface?

Follow the steps above to access the drag and drop chatbot interface.
Once you clicked the button, select the Facebook page you have integrated with your SocialFlow account.

If you did not see your Facebook page here, you probably don't have your Facebook account integrated yet. You can do it by following the steps below.

Once you are in the drag and drop builder, the image below will explain the current interface you see on your screen so you can get started on designing your unique chatbot flow for appointment booking automation.

Here’s what you can do inside the interface builder. Utilize the advantage of this simple interface and build the chatbot of your dreams.

Here are some things you should take note of when building a chatbot flow.

  • Make sure to have the right “Trigger” words such that your customer will always type them or you instruct them to do so.
  • Attempt to make your chatbot flow as simple as possible, easy for customers to navigate around.
  • Use buttons for easy navigation in your chatbot flow and send them to the right links (Example: your landing page link, your website link, direct them to your WhatsApp number, allow them to call you)
  • Always prepare a “Chat with human” function in case they prefer to chat with your team or yourself directly.
