Use This Tool to Find Out How Your Competitor’s Website is Built!
We are taught to “learn from the best” especially when we just got started in something new. However, getting to know how things are done is not as direct as having a marking scheme for each exam paper. The main problems in life are too subjective and the most we can do is to reference and learn the things that currently work or do rigorous trial and errors to get it right.
When it comes to website and landing page building, most of us are stuck because we aren’t sure what tools to use to achieve our objective. Fret not, as this blog will show you one great tool you can use to spy on your competitor’s site and know how it’s done.
Introduction to Wappalyzer
Wappalyzer is a great tool to help identify and research the technologies used on a particular website. All you need before using the tool is just the website links you are interested in and paste them in the search bar as shown.
Aside from doing it manually, Wappalyzer also offers browser extensions and apps that supports integrations across multiple platforms. Some examples can be seen in the screenshot below.
As of now, I have yet to test their API features and website alerts feature so I could not give a good review about it. Nevertheless, let’s look into the pricing plan to see what you can get based on your investment.
