Please explain it like I am stupid. Use simple words that convey the simple and factual truth that The Almighty God you worship is not cool with trans people and transition..

A “devout catholic” who doesn’t know the difference between how Trans Day of Visibility and Easter are scheduled.

Pope Francis thinks transgender people are like nuclear weapons and are somehow anti “The Order of Creation”. Which is funny because he and all Catholics are complicit in the enabling and protecting pedophiles and I don’t think fucking altar boys is consistent with a Pro-“the order of creation” at all.

“christians” for the most part think trans people are some kind of abomination. I personally don’t really care what “christians” think about me.

The threats of hell and damnation are a bit silly on account of rampant atheism on my part.

However to date I have yet to see anything more than nebulous theologizing and pure mental gymnastics in service to their beliefs surrounding transgender people.

The bible says exactly zero about transgender people. It does not mention transition or anything even related.

I checked.

The pope, much like every evangelical cockwomble, seems to hold the opinion that trans people go against the order of creation. While I consider it a bit arrogant for christians to think they know the mind of their god and can speak for this being. There is no mention of transgender people in the bible, nor is there any mention that transition somehow goes contrary to the order of creation.

So where does this idea come from and why are “christians” so intent on weaponizing their faith?

Their faith is ostensibly concerned with humility, the love of your fellow human being, the idea of all sins and people being equal before god and all humans are by nature sinful wreches.

In fact when considering the nature of the titular figure of the faith, Jesus Christ, and his comfort with sex workers and tax collectors, one must ask how modern christianity seems to have cornered the market on bigotry.

Its with this in mind that the question remains, where exactly did this idea come from and what exactly is the justification for all the trans hate from “christians”

I have not seen the words “transgender”, “transsexual” or anything even similar in the bible. However I can find many articles and commentaries by ministers, pastors, priests and other “christians” condemning trans gender people as sinful/evil or for the fall of judeo-christian values/The fall of the Roman Empire/The end of Civilisation as we know it!!!

If you want to speak about the sin of shellfish consumption, the evils of pork, the morality of slavery and sinful fig trees, Yahweh has something to share on those matters.

But on the subject of transgender people the christian god is as silent as the grave.

The closest you can find is a verse about cross dressing. However the use of this verse merely highlights the deliberate and weaponized ignorance of “christians”.

Transgender people are not crossdressers.

There is more medical justification for the understanding of transgender people as the gender they understand themselves to be than there is proof for the existence of a god. Granted that is a bit of a false comparison, we have zero proof of god but we have decades of medical and scientific research on trans people.

Also, I know some trans people and I am yet to meet god….

And that brings us to the answer to all the questions posed above.

If we aren’t going to find the source of the hate in the bible, then it must lie within “christians” and that dear Readers is how and why christianity has become synonymous with bigotry and hate.
