Make & Break

Even though we call ourselves Martin Lab, that’s more of the destination than the idea. We started the lab with the idea of “Make & Break” for the entire agency, not just the self proclaimed geeks. We got a bunch of simple-to-use equipment and gadgets, shoved it into a glass box of a room in the middle of the agency and started playing.

We have a small group of dedicated people (whom you’ll hear from occasionally on this blog), who try to be around the lab different parts of the day for questions or help. We also do short presentations for some the equipment in the lab to make it more approachable. It’s great to do a 3D print for someone of a labrador cookie-cutter, but it’s even cooler to show her how to print the whole series.

We will keep this blog up to date with interesting stuff we’re doing or new gear we are experimenting with (hint: we have micro quad copters and a leap motion due in May.)
