Deadpool is a 2016 R-rated film directer by Tim Miller, starring Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool. In this film Wade’s character breaks the four wall multiple times, meaning he talks to whomever is watching the movie. Wade Wilson is a mercenary who finds out that he has cancer and wont have much longer to live or have a treatment except to slow it down. Until a man just known as the Recruiter (Jed Rees) comes to “recruit” Wade to an organization to cure his cancer, and can also give him abilities.

While in this organization to be cured, the treatments took a turn on Wade, making his skin change and make him want to hide his entire body from people. Hence why he made his red and black suit but the colors are more so he can’t see the blood on his suit. After, he realizes what was done to his skin he decides to track down the man that treated him, Francis/Ajax, played by Ed Skrein who also had a role in Game of Thrones for the first few seasons. But, during Wade’s mission he gets the attention of two of the X-Men, Colossus played by Stefan Kapičić and Negasonic Teenage Warhead portrayed by Brianna Hildebrand. However, these two characters do not seem to link directly to the other X-Men films nor does Deadpool or Deadpool 2.

The X-Men try to convince Wade to be a better person and to not harm more people but he ignores their words and continues his path to Francis. And, they eventually give in and help him because Vanessa, his girlfriend played by Morena Baccarin, is kidnapped and taken by Ajax as a way to get Wade to find him or get to him.
