Every once in a while, a medical oddity catches the attention of medical experts from all over. Some conditions end up being so rare, that very little is understood about it or very, very few people in the world are ever written down in the record books for it.

One such medial anomaly is that of a man named Adam Rainer. Adam was born in Graz, Austria in 1899, to parents both of average height. However, soon after his birth, it became evident that Adam was going to be physically different from most people. Disregarding his small stature, his family continued to love and support as any parent should.

By 1918, when Adam was 18 years old, his height was measured at 3' 7.9" tall.

When WWI broke out, Adam enlisted in the Army. However, due to his short stature, the doctors opted to run a series of tests on him after which, they classified him as a dwarf and concluded that his small size made him too small and weak to be a competent soldier.
