and i’m not even sure
what it is or
what love means
or how you’re supposed
to love a man;
from what i know
love is bright violet
and staring red
hands wrists and legs
feet eyes and gaze
a body
in fact, two bodies
the rush of blood
across your veins
back to your heart
that’s what love is
