Case Studies — is there a recipe?

What is the best way to showcase our tech expertise on our website?

For some time now, we have been meaning to create a new section on our website ( https://marzeelabs.org/) to present a selection of projects and products we have delivered during our 5 years as a company.

We wanted to showcase our expertise and to highlight the products we built to existing partners and clients as well as to potential new clients looking for a company to build or improve their digital platforms.

In order to make the best out of this, we decided to highlight the technologies we used and that are part of our team expertise. We also wanted to share the processes in full we went through to build each selected product and to emphasize the lessons we learned on the way.

We understand that just sharing the tech aspect of each project is not enough. It is important to go beyond features and functionalities, highlight how the products we built helped our clients to reach their goals, and how this contributed to their everyday life. Trust me, for a tech team this is still a bit of a challenge.

We like to believe that this section of our website is a work in progress. We started out with two case studies and they are available here ( https://marzeelabs.org/casestudies/) and we are working on new ones that will go live soon. Like everything we do, we had an extra design layer to present our case studies and have them shining.

If you have any suggestion or comments that will help us to improve our case studies, we would love to hear from you — just leave a comment to us here.

UPCOMING EVENTS

35th Agile Connect Porto community meetup. Explore new ways of solving problems as well as spark our curiosity and creativity through a Design Thinking hands-on workshop!

PHP developers all around Porto can share knowledge, chat about latest technologies and software development and hopefully arrange a few meet-ups or even organize a few talks.

Porto Codes is a meetup for local and international programming enthusiasts. The talks are recorded and published with the presenters’ consent as one of our goals is to provide programming resources to the community.

In this meetup, we will have two exciting talks that will help us think about DevOps in a broader sense, beyond Dev and Ops. How does UX fit in with Agile and DevOps? How do we build a true DevOps culture that takes into consideration all the different teams and roles in our organization?

ProductTank provides an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, Usability and all the other things that get us excited!

WordCamp Lisboa 2019 will take place on the 18th and 19th of May, at ISCTE.

This is a placeholder event for the next Lisbon UX Meetup. Please secure your spot ASAP.
