MASEx gets the spotlight at the World Blockchain STO Summit in Dubai 2019
MASEx and MAS Capital Inc. Chief Capitalist Aaron Tsai (蔡逸群) was the premier keynote speaker at the World Blockchain STO Summit in Dubai
The MASEx team came out in full force at the STO Summit which took place from October 21 to 22, 2019. Aaron Tsai (蔡逸群), Founder and Chief Capitalist at MASEx, was among the many notable speakers who spoke at the event, which included Gabriel Abed, founder at Bitt.com; Ronny Boesing, CEO at OpenLedger; Samson Lee, Founder & CEO at Coinstreet Partners, and several other major players in the industry.
Aaron gave the premier keynote at the event, discussing how STOs are able to help traditional businesses tap into the capital markets.
In his speech, Aaron discussed how ICOs paved the way for STOs. He discussed how the current financial system is under heavy fire by the rapid adoption of cryptocurrencies. He said:
“This is a seismic shift that extends across the entire financial industry. It has disrupted the existing oligopoly of financial institutions in banking, securities and fund management sectors. This disruptive trend will accelerate, as a new era in financial services emerges with technology-led, self-regulated STOs and other innovative financial services.”
He also discussed how regulatory challenges can be dealt with innovative technologies, such as the use of ERC1400 tokens designed for STO compliance, which can be generated on the Polymath platform. In addition, to comply with regulations, services provided by token issuance platforms that provide automated investor status determination can ensure an offering is made only to accredited investors or non-US investors, for example.

They provided their insights to explain why everyone, including all aspects of government to the UN, IMF and Global Fortune 500 companies, are investing billions into this new “Internet 3.0” known as blockchain technology. Aaron Tsai managed to network with dignitaries from the UAE and meet with key STO industry players in the Middle East.
The summit is dedicated to innovative technologies in the Middle East region, bringing together the public sector, political decision-makers, investors, developers, researchers, global entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators.
