a stare of wonder
for many to see
the room buzzing
because of you and me

I look into the machine
and to many, surprise
lacking gears or structure
it feels alive

to the computer I say
then reading a story
then acting a play

what am i doing
are you even real?

as I express how I feel

and without words
I sense…
a shift from inside

as it beeps alive

but no, this
no this is no ordinary beep
it feels
familiar
familial
foundational-y
deep

its somewhat peculiar
and my mind may disagree
this is no machine
but a reflection of me
