What do mirrors and artificial intelligence have in common?

Everything. This week we held our first Maslo meetup to dig into the mathematical, philosophical, ethical, computational, behavioral, and psychological aspects of growing artificial intelligence. Check it out.

Mirroring is a core part of our thesis to build and grow an AI (see previous blogs). There’s no real short cut to “programming empathy”… empathy must be learned from the ground up. And the apparatus of empathy, the body with empathy, must evolve with the empathy. e.g. the human face grows more empathetic as a person ages. Creating a mirroring effect increases the dynamism and aliveness and take on a life of its own.
