Mason Hack Club — Week 3

Hold on to your hats everyone — it’s Cybersecurity Month at Mason Hack Club!

To kick it off, we brought in CyberUC, the University of Cincinnati’s cybersecurity club. They taught the students about wifi signals and did a demo where, using their own computers, they kicked students off of the school wifi.

Additionally, they showed students how to reverse engineer a program by finding key hints in strings using Ghidra — a free and open-source tool created by the NSA.

Cybersecurity Month will last for two more meetings!
