Meet the MassChallenge Boston 2015 Top 26
This week, we finally unveiled the Top 26 MassChallenge Boston Finalists. The 26 will pitch to a final judging panel to determine which startups will share $1 million in equity-free cash to be awarded directly by MassChallenge, and $500,000 awarded by MassChallenge partners CASIS and Boeing.
Winning startups will be announced at the MassChallenge Awards Ceremony on October 28th at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
“Our entrepreneurs had a game-changing summer and I’m very proud of all of the 2015 finalists,” said MassChallenge Founder and CEO John Harthorne. “These top 26 startups are poised to make a tremendous impact across a variety of industries — from transportation to healthcare to robotics. Each of these startups has great potential, and I look forward to celebrating their achievements with the community at the Awards Ceremony.”
Judges will select 10–20 startups from the top 26 who will win equity-free, non-dilutive grants of either $50,000 or $100,000, totaling $1 million. CASIS and Boeing will also award approximately $500,000 to MassChallenge Boston startups to fund research projects on the International Space Station.
