Against the backdrop of the UN Climate Change Conference currently underway in Sharm El-Sheikh, we are campaigning for political framework conditions that promote the use of technologies such as lithium-ion batteries.
High-performance battery cells are already a power source for the automotive and energy transformation. In combination with political will and the corresponding investments, they can play a key role in the global ecological transformation.
As one of the leading manufacturers and developers of application-specific lithium-ion battery cells, we have already developed solutions to enable sustainable mobility not only on the road, but also in the air and in the water.
Particularly in view of the threat of a global recession, investments are needed in technologies that both massively strengthen climate protection and contribute to the prosperity of society as a whole. The battery industry can take on precisely this task and play the role of an ecological growth engine that can contribute equally to the prosperity of the global community and to climate protection.
We have seen in recent months that the previous operating system of the global economy, based largely on trade in and consumption of fossil fuels, has reached its end. It’s time for an upgrade. And time for a new operating system in which innovative, sustainable technologies like lithium-ion battery cells are the stable pillars of global value creation.
